Due to the popularity of the character of Sherlock Holmes, there are many schools of thought regarding the genre of the character’s depictions.
Some argue that the character lies in the realm of fantasy and science fiction short stories, novels and graphic novels. Others argue that he lies in the realm of mystery and detective fiction.

It is part of a series of graphic novels based on the BBC series ‘Sherlock’ episodes.

Originally set during the Victorian era, Sherlock has now come to modern London. The idea that he can live and work in modern-day times and solve mysterious crime makes the stories even more interesting.
