Aquaman & Justice League

Aquaman is a science fiction and fantasy superhero created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger (aka Mortimer Weisinger).

Paul and Mort created Aquaman in 1941 during the golden age of comics. Aquaman comics were first published by the publishing company that later became known as DC Comics.

Aquaman is now part of the DC Extended Universe aka DCEU.

Jason Momoa has been cast as Aquaman (aka Arthur Curry) in the movie ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’. The movie was released last year.

He is also appearing as Aquaman in the upcoming movies ‘Justice League’. The movie is set for release in November 2017.

The new ‘Justice League’ trailer was released recently featuring Aquaman and the Justice League.

The upcoming movie is directed by Zack Snyder, it has a star-studded cast.

Cast members include Ben Affleck (as Bruce Wayne aka Batman), Gal Gadot (as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (as Kal-El aka Clark Kent aka Superman), Amy Adams (as Lois Lane), Ezra Miller (as Barry Allen aka The Flash), Ray Fisher (as Victor Stone aka Cyborg), Jesse Eisenberg (as Lex Luthor) and Jeremy Irons (as Alfred Pennyworth).

The movie features ‘Steppenwolf’ and the ‘Parademons’ as villains. The movie also features living computers know as the ‘Mother Boxes’.

According to DC wikia Aquaman or Orin, is the ruler of the seas and King of Atlantis. He controls most of the territory under the sea, meaning that he controls most of earth! He fights criminals along with his family and sidekicks. His powers include telepathy, mastery of sea creatures, unbelievable strength and the ability to survive on land and underwater at great depths.

Aquaman’s abilities make him a very good fit in Justice League with the rest of the League’s superheroes.
