Star Trek/Green Lantern: Stranger Worlds

The sequel to ‘Star Trek/Green Lantern: The Spectrum War’ is called ‘Star Trek/Green Lantern: Stranger Worlds’. It consists of six issues, it will be completed this year with the release of the remaining issues.

According to official news sources, the mini series Stranger Worlds will be concluded in May this year after IDW Publishing releases ‘Star Trek/Green Lantern Vol. 2 # 6’.

The complete ‘Star Trek/Green Lantern: Stranger Worlds’ collection will be released as a graphic novel in September 2017!

The story of Stranger Worlds is about the crew of the USS Enterprise and the Green Lantern facing the evil Sinestro and Khan.

Super-villains from DC and Star Trek meet Hal Jordan and Captain Kirk in battle.

The fight is more epic than in ‘Star Trek/ Green Lantern: The Spectrum War’.

According to Nerdist Stranger Worlds features Benedict Cumberbatch’s Khan.

It also features Chris Pine’s Captain James T. Kirk.

The writer of the series (graphic novel) is Mike Johnson and the artist is Angel Hernandez.

The success of the comic series is because of the following:

1) J. J. Abrams did a great job of revitalizing Star Trek.

Before the 2009 movie, directed by him, Star Trek movies were failing terribly. J. J. Abrams revitalized the Star Trek franchise by reinventing it for newer audiences as well as for older fans.

‘Star Trek/ Green Lantern: Stranger Worlds’ features J. J. Abrams successful depictions of the classic crew of USS Enterprise.

2) Chris Pine is an amazing Captain Kirk.

Chris Pine is an amazing reinvented Captain Kirk. He joins Starfleet as a dare, because he wants to follow in his fathers footsteps.

3) Benedict Cumberbatch plays the super-villain Khan very well.

Benedict Cumberbatch’s Khan is the evil mastermind that he is supposed to be.
