Carrie Fisher’s mother, Debbie Reynolds, could not bear the devastating news of her daughter’s death. She passed away a day after Carrie did.
Carrier Fisher (who played ‘Princess Leia’ and ‘General Organa’ in Star Wars) passed away on the 27th of December 2016 at the age of 60.
Carrie’s beautiful and charismatic personality was immortalized in Star Wars.
Star Wars would not have been Star Wars without her.
According to J. J. Abrams (The Director of Star Wars: The Force Awakens) “She (Carrie Fisher) was just as brilliant and beautiful, tough and wonderful, incisive and funny as you could imagine. What an unfair thing to lose her. How lucky to have been blessed with her at all.”
We, fans of Star Wars, were lucky to have been blessed with someone like her.
